Water Lily Aspect

I really liked painting this water lily scene. I used a loose impressionist style on this piece because I wanted to create depth with layers of blues and luminous pastel colours.

I think this piece will bring a sense serenity and elegance to any interior space and offer a nod to nature through expressive, contemporary brushwork.
